The Sacred Cow

The Sacred Cow

Why are cows sacred and revered? In India cows are considered sacred and as such are revered amongst all people.  For thousands of years cows have been acknowledged for their enormous compassion and willingness to give all of themselves, body, heart and even their babies – and they are just one example of the animal kingdom. So for example, with cows, they have a very specific purpose here on earth.  They are here not only for their own personal growth, they are also here to channel in and ground the energy of the Moon into the Earth.  That’s why they have horns, not only as part of their digestive system but also as antennae to connect them with the planets and stars. Cows are receiving energy and information from the moon and the planets in order to fulfil their mission here on Earth.  Simply put it is the energy of Unconditional Love, they are one of the species holding and grounding that here on Earth for the sake of all beings. Put your judgement aside If you were to put aside all your judgements and labels for one minute and think of us all as spiritual beings – not the labels of man, woman, cow, monkey or tree – all are spiritual beings.  In terms of what we give to life, a cow is willing to give its own body for the sake of the bigger picture, which is Life. To me that’s the most supreme form of offering. It’s giving its own body, knowing its going to suffer, reincarnating over and over again in order to give us humans milk, meat, skins, gelatin and so on.  At some level, the cow knows what going to happen and it is willing to offer its life to show how big love actually is, the opposite of selfishness. To me, cows are teachers for us humans because if we could be a tenth of the loving beings that cows are, the world would be a much happier, peaceful and better place.  In India cows are revered as sacred.  For thousands of years cows have been acknowledged for their enormous compassion and willingness to give all of themselves – and they are just one example in the animal kingdom. One of the reasons I’m so passionate about this, is because it feels that we are at such a critical time in our evolution as a whole, and we have been been stuck in an old out dated mindset, that we are these supreme beings here on planet Earth and that everything in nature is here to feed and serve us. Life, animals and balance Before the written word, humans and animals lived in total harmony...

The King of Kings

The King of Kings

Why are lions referred to as ‘Kings’? What is it about them that make this legend so true? Having just been out to South Africa and met the mighty White Lions as well as their cousins the tawny or golden lions, I can now understand why the fact that they are the apex predator at the top of the food chain, means that they literally govern the circle of life by their life style and who they are. Most significantly, if they go extinct, which at this point in time is a very real possibility, the whole eco system in their home- land will be so negatively affected, it may not survive. But I really want to talk about the importance of who they are from a spiritual perspective, or what they mean in the biggest sense. Through wisdom we learn It is through the wisdom of the indigenous tribal people that we can learn, they have never lost touch with nature or their own nature, and it is through their oral tradition that the relevance and significance of the White Lions can be found. These magnificent creatures represent the Solar Logos or the energy of the Sun incarnate.. The Logos represents the heart of the cosmic pattern and the source of existence, its emblem is the sun, which is the source of life and light. The indigenous tribes of Africa and many other tribes around the world, have prophesised the return of white animals and they are said to bring a two fold sign from the Great Creator: They are both a blessing and a warning. The warning is that we are now at a pivotal point in the earth’s evolution.  We are headed on a path of total destruction and we urgently need to repair the damage. Firstly to the earth, by stopping our rate of consumption and greed, and secondly by changing our relationship to the way we view life… we need to get out of our heads and into our hearts. Love and Respect This means that we will awaken to love and respect for all life. It is the only solution and all that is needed. Living from the heart will solve everything if you think about it. By living from the heart, we are connected to nature, to each other, to the plant kingdom and of course the animal kingdom. Energetically, being in the heart centre, means that we allow ourselves to really feel.. we are empathic and therefore no longer self centred and just out for ourselves. We also loose our fear driven tendencies as we feel connected to others and to our highest and best selves… So war, starvation, poverty and epidemics...

Horse Healers… Heaven On Earth

Horse Healers… Heaven On Earth

I have just returned from a trip to Liz Mitten Ryan’s Gateway Ranch near Kamloops, Canada where I visited an extraordinary herd of horse healers living on 320 acres of high vibrational pristine land, whose last inhabitants were the First Nations tribal people of Canada. There are countless reasons why it was so remarkable and why I am so excited to discover that a place like this exists. Firstly the horses themselves; the herd consists of 13 Warmbloods, a small Shetland pony and an enormous Steer named Tesoro the Buddha because of his huge loving energy. Most of the herd have been bred by owner Liz Mitten Ryan and treated with the utmost love and care from the start. These horse healers live as a wild herd in stunningly beautiful surroundings with forests, lakes and many wild herbs to graze on. Early every morning the herd comes down from the hills, back to their barn for abundant amounts of sweet smelling hay as well as liberal apple and carrot treats. Liz and her team shower them with love and praise, they know that the horses have been working during the night on raising the vibration of Mother Earth and clearing energy from all the debris that humanity creates. The first day I met the herd on my first morning and was deeply struck, firstly by their noble dignity, their serene calmness and a radiant sense of well being. As I introduced myself to each member of the herd, I noticed how attentive and direct they were. Each horse had a different personality; each possessed an innate confidence in their individuality, whilst emanating a deep sense of kindness and compassion. It was clear that these horses know no fear of humans. They viewed us as potential friends, genuinely interested in each one of us with childlike innocence. After all, they had never been maltreated in anyway. Never coerced, abused or made to do anything that did not feel right to them. They were how horses should be, wild, yet willing to befriend, not only willing, but enthusiastic in their interest in each person. Raising the vibration With no agenda, they could give their attention to the humans, raising their vibration in line with the herd. As I meditated with the horses, who were all either lying down or standing in a state of deep relaxation, I was drawn into their zone, the vibration in which they live. It was like being re-calibrated, opened up to the deepest peace, where I felt they were showing me my potential state of being. I was immersed in a profound feeling of rare purity and deepest love, that tears streamed unashamedly down my face....

Angel the Angel

Angel the Angel

Angel the Angel She came to me, of course, when I was most in need.  I had recently left my spiritual teacher and the community of friends I had been living with and my heart was sore. Angel arrived as an 8 week puppy and there was a deep connection immediately.  I felt a love for her that went deep into my heart and bought me the deepest joy.  She was a bundle of light. She was sensitive, funny and very intelligent. Over the years our bond grew deeper and the love blossomed into a soft, tender and highly attuned togetherness that always helped me through difficult times.  During this period of my life I was in deep process of clearing negative patterns from my being.  I went through many life lessons and always, Angel was there encouraging me to become my best self. Everyone who met Angel remarked on her “Consciousness”.  She spread light and love to many who came into our life.  I accepted that I was very lucky being blessed by such an obviously evolved “dog” and enjoyed being with her because she had such a high vibration, it was very nurturing to be around. Angel Explains Four years ago we decided to move to Pembrokeshire to be deep in nature.   We found a house and moved in and four months later quite suddenly,  Angel departed for the higher realms.  I was grief stricken, my heart was broken into thousands of pieces.  I was in shock and disbelief that my dearest friend had left so suddenly.  I made an appointment with one of the world’s leading animal communicators who contacted Angel and explained why she had gone.  She said it was perfectly timed, she had to be on the “other side” to work with me in a new way.  She told me she had been my Guardian angel ever since my soul was conceived, but had never incarnated in a body.  She was going to come as my child, but as I’d never had children she came as my dog. It all made perfect sense.  That was why she had such presence, like a golden aura around her. Letting Go Some people told me I should just let go of the attachment, but I realised it was because of the attachment, that this situation was perfectly designed by our souls to open me up.  Because my heart was broken, it enabled it to be rebuilt in a way that took me to a new level of compassion and empathy that I have embraced and now use in my daily life. I also wrote to Angel many times and she replied through automatic writing to me.  These...
